The Macavity Cat Family

Leo Macavity

Leo came to Fisherport with his wife, Laurette, and played a major part in designing and constructing the Fisherport Harbor. An accomplished engineer, he taught his son Alonzo the tricks of the trade, and currently serves as an advisor on many of the current construction projects in the town.

Laurette Macavity

A close friend of Tom Fisher, Laurette was one of the first to explore Fisherport. She is an expert cartographer and was responsible for producing the earliest maps of the new settlement. Adorned with fanciful drawings, her maps are a work of art unto themselves. She continues to update them each year as the town grows.

Alonzo Macavity

Alonzo learned architecture from his father, and now serves as one of the builders in Fisherport, along with his friend Schroeder Fisher. At their workshop, he is the one to call for architectural drafting. Of course, this means that town planner Vincent Charcoal is always calling him, and won’t take no for an answer.

Cassandra Macavity

Cassandra considers herself a psychic, and runs a little fortune telling shop above the dance studio. Tarot cards, tea leaves, palm reading, she’s got it covered. She traveled to various towns around Sylvania for a while, before she settled in Fisherport, but she had to leave each time due to allegations of practicing witchcraft. Here, they just think she’s a nut.

Mistoffeless Macavity

Mistoffeless loves to amuse his younger siblings and cousins with his silly songs and magic tricks. He works well with children in general, and thus is the one to call when someone needs a babysitter. When he goes off to college, he wants to study to be an elementary school teacher.

Grizabella Macavity

Grizabella, or Bella, as she prefers to be called, sees herself as too cool for her goofy family and weird little town. She dreams about moving to a more famous town in Sylvania, and being swept off her feet by some handsome, gentlemanly fellow.  Unsurprisingly, she is a fan of romance stories and is an avid reader of Milton Keats’ novels.

Rumpus Macavity

Poor Rumpus is clumsy and forgetful. His mother believes he might be cursed. Although he makes poor grades and is always picked last in gym, he really shines at gardening. Unfortunately, this skill impresses no one but florist Katrina Whiskers.

Asparagus Macavity

Lots of children like pirates, but Asparagus is more obsessed with them than most. She likes to hide her ‘loot’ (allowance) in secret places that she keeps a map to, and she would wear her bandanna and eyepatch to school if she could. Though she knows pirates are criminals, she still sort of wishes that the Harbor would one day be visited by a tall ship of rogue scalawags.

Skimble Macavity

Skimble is much more careful with her toys than one would expect for such a young child. She's already inherited her mother’s childhood dollhouse, which none of her older siblings showed an interest in. You can often find her sitting in her room, quietly babbling to herself as she moves the little dolls around.

Rosie Caramel

Rosie is the daughter of Cassandra’s older sister, who perished along with her husband in a house fire. Rosie came to live with the Macavities when she was a baby, and still retains a few memories of her parents. She also happens to be a slider, someone who can travel to other dimensions. She has many inter-dimensional adventures, including to a realm where she and all of the other townspeople of Fisherport are toys. You can find Rosie’s adventures here.

Note: Leo and Laurette have a messenger bag and a handbag respectively, but left them at home for this photo. Rosie wears various outfits, rarely her original dress.
