The Keats Cat Family

Milton Keats

Milton used to be a prolific writer of romance novels, the sappy, dime-a-dozen kind that people read on the beach. That was, until his wife Louise and her three friends dragged him along to found a new village. He is retired from writing now, but he still treats his few but avid fans with a new release on occasion.

Louise Keats

There are few people as stubborn as mayor ‘Iron Louise’, and both of them work with her in Town Hall. She truly means well, but can be quite single-minded when pursuing a project. She is a great fan of technology and wants to make Fisherport the most advanced town in Sylvania. She is, however, an avid railfan, and has a soft spot for watching old steam engines winding through the countryside.

Rosetti Keats

Rosetti’s mother wants him to go into politics, but he knows he'd never make it. He's too shy and soft spoken, and besides, he prefers puttering around the kitchen of his restaurant to being constantly in the public eye. Bronte tells him to speak up about it, but he's still too afraid to disappoint his mom.

Bronte Keats

Bronte runs the Keats House diner on Main Street with her husband. She works as the waitress, and is said to have a cheerful demeanor that brightens the day of anyone who comes in the door. She proudly states that the diner is a much higher-end  establishment than the new takeout seafood place on the Harbor. Naturally, this has soured relationships between her and Maurice Chantilly, and they always try to beat the other in getting the best stock from the fishmonger as soon as the ship comes in.

Patricia Keats

Patricia is an art student who lives in the capitol city. When Sadie Persis was attending the special needs school near the University, she worked it out with her parents that she would live in Patty’s apartment. Patty started to see Sadie as one of her younger siblings, and when Sadie moved back home, Patty missed her family more than before. Now she travels home much more often.

Eliot Keats

He may not look it, but Eliot is a bit of a bad boy. Just little misdeeds, like ringing doorbells, trampling flowers, and writing rude words on the desks at school. Ironically, he hates when some kid is picked on, and will go after bullies with a ferocity that is a bit excessive.

Shelley Keats

In contrast to her brother, Shelley is a model student. She gets straight A’s and has perfect attendance, and she has been elected class president three years in a row (no one else ran). She looks up to her grandma and wishes to be mayor like her someday. Or maybe even prime minister of Sylvania!

Larkin Keats

Larkin has a terrible fear of caterpillars, especially the fuzzy kind. He can't quite say ‘caterpillar’ yet, so his parents initially thought he was getting upset by a pillow. He likes butterflies, though, and had an unpleasant surprise when he opened a book about butterflies one day in daycare.

Note: Milton is wearing his original pants but not his original shirt. Bronte’s dress is missing her apron. Many of the names have been shortened. The Keats older sister had no official name, so I gave her one.
